Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect when you use ProxyBuilders, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Plain language, no legalese.

Who we are
ProxyBuilders helps people living abroad build homes in Nigeria. You can reach us at info@proxybuilders.com with any question about your data.
What we collect
- What you give us. Your name, email, phone number, and the city and country you are in or want to build in. If someone referred you, we record their referral code.
- Your build. If you become a customer, we hold the details of your project: its stages, the photos and documents from site, payment status, and messages between you and our team.
- Referral clicks. When you open a referral link we store the code, the date, and a one way scrambled version of your IP address. We cannot turn that back into your IP. It exists to stop the same click being counted twice.
What we never do
- We do not hold or move your money. Your funds sit with a licensed Nigerian bank and are released by that bank as work is verified. We record what the bank has already done, nothing more.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
- We do not give the person who referred you your contact details. They see your first name, your city, and whether you have been contacted. Nothing else.
Why we are allowed to hold it
When you tick the consent box on the sign up form, you are giving us permission to contact you about a build. That is our basis for holding your enquiry. Once you become a customer, we hold your project data because we need it to deliver the build you asked for.
Who else sees it
Our own staff, the bank holding your funds, and the contractors working on your site. Contractors see what they need to do the work and nothing else. We also use ordinary business services for hosting and email, which process data on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Project records are kept for as long as your build runs and for a period afterwards, because construction and property records may be needed years later. Enquiries that never become projects are removed once they are clearly no longer live. Referral click records are kept only as long as we need them to count referrals fairly.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Email info@proxybuilders.com and we will respond. Withdrawing consent does not undo anything we did while it was in place.

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will tell you. The date below is when it was last updated.
